1. How do
I make a call with
AFRIKACARD?
Just follow these simple steps:
- Dial one of our trigger numbers in the USA, France or United Kingdom
and hung up at the first ring. If your CallerID is sent to our
system you will receive a call back in 10-20 seconds.
- Answer the call and dial your PIN followed by the # sign.
- Dial the destination number you wish to call as follows:
00 + country code + phone number followed by the # sign
To make another call press the # key 3 times (###), wait for the prompt and
then dial the destination number you wish to call.
To redial the last number called, press * #
To disconnect your call, press * * *
2. How do I register my
phone number for PIN-Less
Calling?
Benefit from our PIN-Less calling feature! Dial *7 after step 2 and next time
you call any of the trigger numbers from the same phone number our system
will give you direct access without the need of entering your PIN.
Please note that you can still use your calling card from other
phones (while your PIN-Less calling feature is active) by following
the steps described in the previous answer.

How do I cancel
PIN-Less Calling feature?
You can cancel your
PIN-Less Calling feature by dialing *8 after step #2.

How do I use
SMS trigger feature?
- Send your 8 digit
calling card PIN with an SMS Message to our UK based SMS Trigger
number
+44-77-3659-2284.
- You will receive a callback in 20 seconds and you just need to
dial your destination.
- If you want our system to auto dial your destination, then after
the PIN just add # and the destination phone number on
your SMS trigger.
- Our system will first
call you back and automatically connect you to your destination
phone number.
5. Can I use AFRIKACARD
from any telephone?
Yes, you can use AFRIKACARD from your home or mobile telephone as long
as your phone sends CallerID number to our system.
6. When does AFRIKACARD
expire?
AFRIKACARD will expire 60 days after the first use.
7. Are there any connection
fees or extra charges?
There are no connection fees or extra charges with AFRIKACARD.
8.
Are the rates different when
calling fixed or mobile phones?
Yes, some countries charge higher rates for mobile calls,
therefore when calling to mobile phones available minutes may be lower
compared to calling a land line in the same country. Please click on
the View Minutes
to see available minutes for each card value.
9. How do I check my remaining
balance?
Every time you use AFRIKACARD you will hear your remaining
minutes after you dial your destination number. Please note that
remaining minutes will vary depending on the origination and destination of your
call.
